How FirefighterHire handles account, study, analytics, and support information.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide, such as your name, email address, password, contact-form messages, selected exam track, and account settings.

We also collect study activity such as diagnostic results, practice attempts, flashcard reviews, readiness scores, streaks, XP, and content reports so the product can personalize training and improve quality.

How we use information

We use account and study information to operate FirefighterHire, save progress, recommend weak-area practice, provide admin review tools, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, and improve product reliability.

We may use analytics events to understand signups, practice sessions, diagnostic completion, pricing performance, contact submissions, and video-content workflows.

Payments and third parties

When paid checkout is enabled, payment details are processed by Stripe or another payment provider. FirefighterHire does not store full card numbers.

We may use service providers for hosting, database storage, analytics, payment processing, and operational tooling. They are used only to support the FirefighterHire service.

No official agency relationship

FirefighterHire is independent and is not affiliated with any department, academy, civil service agency, testing company, or exam provider. We do not send your study results to agencies unless a future organization feature clearly asks for your permission.

Security and retention

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including hashed passwords, authenticated admin access, rate limiting, and private account routes. No online service can guarantee perfect security.

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and maintain study history unless deletion is requested and legally permitted.

You can update basic profile details and request account or data help from the dashboard settings page. You can also contact support through the public contact page.
